Meet the Founder
Welcome to Heavenly Halo Empowerment Services. I’m Angel Sims, the founder of Heavenly Halo Empowerment Services, and I am passionate about creating meaningful opportunities, compassionate support, and greater independence for individuals with disabilities.
With over 10 years of professional experience, I have dedicated my career to working with and supporting individuals with disabilities and those who require additional assistance with communication, learning, daily living, and personal development.
My educational and professional background includes a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW), a Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Certified Special Edcation Teacher, and a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license. I am also currently pursuing an Education Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in Special Education, continuing to expand my knowledge and expertise in serving individuals with significant and profound disabilities.
Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work closely with individuals with complex needs and their families. These experiences have taught me that every person deserves to be treated with dignity, patience, respect, compassion, and understanding.

Heavenly Halo Empowerment Services was created from my desire to provide individuals with disabilities with support that goes beyond simply meeting their basic needs.
I believe every individual has strengths, abilities, preferences, and potential. With the right support and opportunities, individuals can build greater independence, develop meaningful relationships, participate in their communities, and experience a greater quality of life.
My vision for Heavenly Halo is to create a supportive environment where individuals feel seen, valued, respected, and empowered.
At Heavenly Halo Safe Haven, we are committed to empowering individuals with disabilities to live meaningful, fulfilling, and more independent lives.
We provide person-centered support designed to promote independence, build life skills, encourage community participation, and help individuals reach their personal goals in a safe, respectful, and supportive environment.
Our approach is built on dignity, compassion, inclusion, and the belief that every individual deserves the opportunity to thrive.

Heavenly Halo Safe Haven is dedicated to providing compassionate, person-centered support to individuals with disabilities. Our goal is to help each individual build confidence, develop greater independence, participate in their community, and experience a meaningful quality of life.
We believe support should be individualized to the person—not the disability. We work to understand each individual's strengths, preferences, needs, and goals while creating opportunities for growth, independence, and connection.
